Universal Orlando Resort opened a brand new park, Epic Universe in May 2025. This park will blow you away! Consisting of 5 worlds each with their own unique theme. Upon entering the park you will go through Celestial Park which is the cosmic heart. Ride Stardust Racers Roller Coaster or enjoy a drink and a meal at one of the many bars and restaurants.
Dark Universe immerses you into the World of Universal Monsters. Ride Curse of the Werewolf and Monsters Unchained. And you never know who you will meet around the corner. How To Train Your Dragon-Isle of Berk allows you to explore the island where vikings and dragons exist in harmony. I love riding Hiccups Winged Gliders and seeing the Untrainable Dragon stage show. Enjoy the interactive Super Nintendo World. Ride Mario Kart:Bowser's Challenge, Mine-Cart Madness, and Yoshi's Adventure. Grab a bite to eat at Toadstool Cafe and snap a picture with Mario and Luigi. Encounter fantastic beasts and magic in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Ministry of Magic. Experience the thrilling Battle at the Ministry. Have lunch at Cafe L'air De La Sirene and an ice cold frozen Butterbeer. Le Cirque Arcanus is mouth dropping show filled with surprises! I recommend two days for Epic Universe with the purchase of Express Passes for sure. Want help creating your Epic adventure to Universal Orlando? Reach out to me at [email protected] 5. Bimini Beach Club: This private beach club is a stop on Caribbean sailings for Virgin Voyages sailors. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, complimentary loungers and umbrella, use of our bar tab, dips in the pool and gorgeous ocean, as well as fun music and entertainment. The cruise line offers a free shuttle to and from the ship.
4. Scarlet Night: We loved dressing up in our best red! The festive atmosphere is all over the ship on this night. The ship is decorated with fun decorations and lighting. We loved the various rooms with DJs and dancing. The show on the pool deck was phenomenal! Do not skip this exciting celebration! 3. The hammock: All Sea Terrace rooms have a comfy handmade red hammock. A great spot to relax and enjoy the view, read, or take a nap. I am hooked and will never book a room without one. 2. No kids! Virgin Voyages is 18 and up. While we love our family vacations, we loved the elevated adult vibe of this cruise. We met some really cool people, enjoyed live music, entertainment, and more without dealing with ours or other people's children. 1. The food: The food was absolutely incredible. There was only maybe 2 things I tried I did not like. Virgin does not have buffets and every night we ate at different sit down restaurant. From appetizers to desserts and exceptional main dishes are all included! There are no extra costs for specialty dining. Our favorites were Pink Agave and The Test Kitchen. We enjoyed 2 sit down brunches as well as all that was offered in The Galley. I cannot wait to sail again and eat ALL THE THINGS! Want to find out more about Virgin Voyages? Email me at [email protected] 5. Central Park: In the middle of the exciting energy onboard Utopia of the Seas is a quiet and serene area called Central Park. Adorned with live plants and unique sculptures, this is a great place to have coffee and snack during the day or a glass of wine and listen to live music in the evening. Our room even had a view of Central Park. 4. Live music: All around the ship you will find several spaces with live music especially in the evening. From Latin music in Boleros to smooth jazz in Central Park. One night there was a steel drum band playing above the promenade and I also enjoyed the pianist in Schooner Bar. So many venues to enjoy live music and entertainment. 3. The Deluxe Drink package: While I was really undecided about purchasing this due to the cost, the package went down to a very reasonable price before the cruise so I decided to get it. It was really nice to just order what I wanted and not worry about the cost. From a Rum Punch by the pool, or a glass of Prosecco at dinner, to a Mai Tai at Coco Cay, for me it was a good investment on my vacation. 4. Perfect Day at Coco Cay: And it really was! We spent our time mostly at Thrill Water Park. My son went down every slide and enjoyed hanging out with other teens. There is so much to do there too for younger kids including Splash Away Bay and Chill Island. Grownups can be kid free at Hideaway Beach. There are several excellent locations to grab lunch and you can use the drink package there as well. It definitely was a perfect day! 5. Aqua 80 Too: This show was by far the BEST entertainment I have seen on a cruise ship. Set to the soundtrack I grew up on dancers performed in the water. Divers from high above gracefully dove through the Aqua Theater. Aerial performers twirled above the audience and tight rope walkers dared to amaze us. I was so glad I reserved this show in advance and would definitely see it again! Wanted to learn more about Utopia of the Seas or another Royal Caribbean cruise ship? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew-online.html If you are a Disney fan, you probably heard of the 4 parks 1 day challenge. On my last trip I took on the challenge. My goal was to do two rides, have something to eat, and of course a picture in front of the icon. I boarded the Animal Kingdom bus from the Polynesian at 6:49, which was a little later than I wanted to as I was not using Genie plus or buying Individual Lightning Lanes for Animal Kingdom. They had not let guests into the park when I arrived but I was definitely a ways from the front of the line. Early entry for resort guests was 7:30 AM. The line for Flight of Passage was long but I was walking under the queue clock at 7:40 and off the ride by 8:13 and headed right to Kilimanjaro Safari. The posted wait time was 15 minutes but I was able to walk right on. I grabbed coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Starbucks Creature Comforts and enjoyed a fairly quiet park. I walked around some shops before leaving. Park to park buses do not start running til 10 so about that time I headed to the bus to Hollywood Studios. I arrived at Hollywood Studios at 10:23. I made my first Lightning Lane for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway for 10:30 so by the time I arrived inside it was time to ride. As soon as I scanned through I made my selection for Toy Story Mania at 12. I enjoyed an Ace Space Cider from Baseline Tap House and grabbed a Mickey pretzel from one of the carts. I stopped to meet Edna Mode, check out some shops, before heading to the Skyliner to Epcot. I had booked a Lightning Lane for Soarin’. At 2:30 I went ahead and rode Soarin with my LL then had lunch at Connections Cafe. I walked on Spaceship Earth to thank the Phoenicians. It is an easy ride on the monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom. Transferred at the Transportation Ticket Center to the Magic Kingdom monorail and I was walking down Main Street at 4:10. My LL for Big Thunder was not till 5:30 so I had time to wander around and take some pictures. I checked out the progress over Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when it opens this summer. I rode Pirates of the Caribbean with LL at 6:30 and immediately made a LL for Small World and rode that right away. At 7:00 AM that morning I purchased an Individual Lightning Lane for Tron for 7:00 PM so I could ride it at night. I was off by 7:30 and heading out of the park by 7:50 to meet friends for dinner at the Polynesian! I don’t track steps but I am sure I walked several miles. By using Genie Plus I was able to ride some of the most popular attractions. I had a blast and would totally do it again. Club Level is offered at many different resorts and can be also called concierge. I have enjoyed this option at Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Orlando, and Beaches Turks and Caicos.
By booking a Club Level room you are given access to the club or concierge lounge. In the lounge you will also find the concierge desk. There you will get personalized assistance for any special requests, dining or activity bookings, or any questions you may have. The biggest advantage though is the food and beverages that come with this type of room. Mornings you will be served breakfast with juices and specialty coffees. Mid day you will have light snacks like chips and salsa, cheese and crackers, veggies and dip, as well as packaged snacks you can take with you. In the evening you will have heavy appetizers that can very well be made into a meal as well as alcoholic beverages for adults. Later that night is dessert and usually cordials. Another benefit of club level is the staff gets to know you by name. Every morning at the Disneyland hotel cast member, Robert, made my daughter a mocha latte. By booking club level you do not need to purchase outside groceries or alcohol which can be a money saver. I would love to share more about club level options at the various resorts or ships that it is available. Contact me at [email protected]
