I was lucky enough to attend the Passholder Preview at Magic Kingdom on July 9, 2020. I was excited to see the new look on the castle, be back in one of my favorite places, and see all the new health and safety measures that are put in place to allow for the parks to open. Before entering the parks guests will have their temperatures taken and then will go through a streamlined bag check. All guest ages 2 and up are required to wear face coverings with ear loops. Throughout the park there are lots of hand sanitizing machines as well as portable sink areas. At attractions there are ground and floor marking to make sure guests are social distancing from other guests. You are also not seated near other guests on ride vehicles. Attractions receive a spray down cleaning every few hours throughout the day. Several of the larger shops are using a virtual line to enter to ensure there are not too many in the shop at a time. At quick service restaurants rows of tables are blocked off as well as every other table. Characters will surprise you throughout the day with pop up musical cavalcades or appearing in various places such as the train station waving and entertaining guests. Overall I feel Disney has done an amazing job with the new protocols. I am sure there will be many changes throughout this time. Be sure to follow my Facebook page for any updates.
