I recently was hosted by my favorite tour operator, Vacation Express, to tour and experience several adult all inclusives in Mexico. Our host resort was Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres. I was in an ocean view privilege room. The resort has several pools including a rooftop pool for privilege guests, a flow rider, lazy river, pickleball courts, and direct beach access. There is nightly entertainment, a lively sports bar and piano bar, and several excellent restaurants. The breakfast buffet was perfect for a quick breakfast before our daily tours.
My favorite resort was Hotel Mousai. This luxury resort is the the sister resort of family friendly, Garza Blanca. Guests of Mousai can access all the amenities and restaurants of Garza Blanca. The impressive lobby is decorated with modern playful art and furniture. The bright color scheme extends into the guest rooms. Upscale bars and restaurants will delight any guest. And the rooftop pool has a gorgeous view of the ocean. Secrets Playa Blanca was another resort we toured. This resort has a very different look and feel then Hotel Mousai. The property is lush with tropical plants and flowers with several hidden pools. A unique feature is the lobby bar, but it is not actually in the lobby but outside in a central area of the resort. There are 505 rooms to choose from tropical view, ocean view, swim up and preferred club. Secrets is perfect for a romantic getaway or a friends trip. Hyatt Zilara welcomed us with an impressive welcome show of talented performers. The resort has recently reopened after a lengthy refurbishment and it is impressive. The lobby is beautiful with large trees and a clean white decor and furniture. The gorgeous pool area overlooks the beach and no need to get out for a drink as you can just head over to the swim up bar. Book a special dining experience at Casa Adelita where you will get to participate in the preparation of the meal and then sit down with your new family and friends and enjoy what you all prepared. This resort also has very chic speakeasy behind a secret entrance. The rooms are large and even the lowest rate room has a beautiful view. These were just a few highlights of my trip. I would love to share about the other resorts and offerings. Want to begin planning your next Mexican Adventure? Let's chat [email protected] Comments are closed.
